Oktober 2002 um 23:54:31 MESZ No warp drive so soon Sorry to break the news to all overly enthusiastic Trekkies and other Sci-fi buffs (like myself actually): According to Warp Drive When? we don't have a chance to ever discover a means for faster-than-light interstellar travel. Why? Fundamental laws of physics won't allow for it (unless these laws are flawed and until now that doesn't seem likely) plus the gargantuan amount of energy involved. When looking at the mess we have to clean up here on Earth it's probably no big loss anyway. link me |
